Last weekend I traveled to Siegen, a small German city near Cologne, to give a course on the use of micro-screws in orthodontics and my working philosophy in this area. I enjoyed giving this course a great deal and the doctors hosting the event provided me with a very warm welcome.
‘Hands-on’ course on micro-screws in orthodontics, in Siegen, Germany
Micro-screws have sparked a revolution in orthodontics and the way in which we can treat complex cases such as open bites, class II malocclusions and other types of malocclusion. This has been so because of the wide range of movements they allow, which would have been far more complex using only the conventional apparatus. The insertion of micro-screws is a small and painless surgical procedure with a very fast recovery time.
Displayed here are some of the images from the course, and on my facebook profile you can see more.
